Maria

Maria Stojanova. Modest yet ambitious young girl, torn between Roma tradition and her desire to be more. She is 16 years old now, was born in Sofia. Although she was born too early, she was born in to a loving family. She was lucky.

With her mother, father, 2 younger sisters and brother she lives in a house in Dolna Banya. She is a great student and is loved by her teacher. In local Roma community it is not uncommon for them to marry very young. Finishing a school is also a challenge, when there is no interest in it.

Maria's greatest passion is singing, and is praised by everyone. She wants to finish school, and maybe go to collage.

She has a great potential and a will to make it.
